I've scoured the system removing anything and everything to do with the modem software, i've tried running setup from the original install disk and also downloaded the drivers from the aol if need be take over ownership and give yourself FULL access... That's making a copy of your precious work on some other device (like a CD or DVD or USB-stick or external hard disk) so you won't lose it your computer breaks If not, let us know as there are other ways to uninstall SP3 if you can't via Add and Remove.
