It is odd that it is trying to run two programs at the same time tho. options KTRACE # ktrace(1) support options MAC # TrustedBSD MAC Framework options MALLOC_DEBUG_MAXZONES=8 # Separate malloc(9) zones options MD_ROOT # MD is a potential root device options MSDOSFS # MSDOS Filesystem write_g1: scsi sendcmd: no error > CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 00 > status: 0x2 (CHECK CONDITION) > Sense Bytes: 70 00 03 00 00 00 I also updated to the latest testing but no >> difference that I can see.

Basically, the output of mkisofs is piped through growisofs to the disc. I suspect a mismatch of package versions which is why I > went unstable with k3b and cdrtools. I don't think > the media is bad. I went to a older version and it worked fine on the first try with my backup file.

I tried to burn an .iso image on Brasero. https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/users/2015-April/459879.html Track 01: 25 of 30 MB written (fifo 100%) [buf 98%] 4.3x. If you need to reset your password, click here. The alternative is to write an ISO image file and then burn it to disc, which is slower but what I suggested to see where the problem lies. -- Neil Bothwick

Track 01: 28 of 30 MB written (fifo 100%) [buf 96%] 4.1x. weblink Here's the dubious output from a simple audio cd: Code: cdrecord: Operation not permitted. Maybe he is on vacation or something. :-) Thanks for the pointer Neil. You will not be able to do remote SCSI. ...

It's even coming from the same box and is media that I have used for a previous backup with no issues. Starting to write CD/DVD/BD at speed 4 in real SAO mode for single session.

Should I shoot it? Track 02: 7 of 41 MB written (fifo 100%) [buf 98%] 4.4x. After I tried, and it failed, I cannot remove that from the Barerso directory. cdrecord: Warning: controller returns wrong page 0 for CD write parameter page ( 5).

Note that registered members see fewer ads, and ContentLink is completely disabled once you log in. Schilling is like an X/HAL thread without you ;-) . > > I guess he is on vacation. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own. Maybe this will work. Now we have an error message but there is no information on the media. You may get buffer underruns. Any idea how to get DAO working? I don't understand the speed at the bottom of the log.
