Data Protector In The Pool Cannot Be Appended

When the regular backup starts it tries to pick that tape as it has a pick order of one (1) and the backup job fails. I've put every protection of the backups on 1 day and I use 5 different tapes every week (1 per weekday). Also, are the tapes on the two sites the same size? Basic media selection criteria: Media in poor condition are not selected for backup. The allocation policy is set to appendable on incrementals only & loose. Is the medium flagged full or write protected? Firstly, check if the respective media pool is set to ‘Appendable'.
