Older Canons (pre-2007) can only use SD cards, not SDHC cards.2.

SD vs SDHC in my old camera. There is a tiny tab on the left side of the SD card (when you are reading the front, tab is on left side). Stacey,Ask yourself, did you ever format that card in the camera as Olympus recommends? Card worked fine, camera worked fine, reader worked fine until today, when I put the sd card+reader into my usb (like usual), but when I click the CANON whatever letter drive, I was able to view the card on my laptop before the error message on the camera. I used a card reader I had - didn't work, so I bought a new one which still didn't show up on the PC or Mac.
